Call for papers: Towards Common Ground: Philosophical Approaches to Children’s Literature

The Child and the Book 2012 aims to examine the foundations of children’s literature criticism. Taking a philosophical approach, we intend to find some common ground among the increasingly scattered areas of research, to think about definitions, and to work towards a more coherent framework. How can philosophical perspectives benefit our discipline? Conversely, how can children’s literature research contribute to the field of philosophical knowledge?

Justine Houyaux

Après l'obtention d'un master en traduction, Justine Houyaux s'est lancée dans l'aventure du doctorat à la Faculté de Traduction et d'Interprétation de l'UMONS (Belgique), où elle enseigne la langue de Shakespeare et prépare une thèse sur les realia dans les traductions françaises d' "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" et de "Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There" de Lewis Carroll. Elle aime les tortues et déteste les carottes râpées.
